Payadora Tango Ensemble: RCAC Performance Series
Payadora Tango Ensemble: Thursday, March 26 at 7pm, Rossland Miners Hall
Payadora is an award-winning ensemble of vocalist, violin, bandoneon, bass and piano that performs its own arrangements of a core repertoire drawing from Argentinian/Uruguayan Tango and Folk music (tangos, milongas, waltzes, folk music such as Zamba and chacarera), as well as original songs inspired by that tradition; a group that’s endorsed by the Argentinian Consulate in Toronto for their adherence to the spirit of tango.
Presented by the Rossland Council for Arts and Culture 20th Anniversary Performance Series.
