Symphony of the Kootenays – Voyage Beyond Stars: A story from galaxies far, far away
October 4 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Our first concert will be an afternoon performance on Sunday October 4th at 2pm, featuring the popular local Symphony of the Kootenays. They will be presenting a programme of dramatic and moving excerpts from a number of film scores. Entitled “Voyage Beyond Stars: A story from galaxies far, far away”, this will include music from Star Wars, Halo, Star Trek, The Planets, and other Sci-fi favourites.
In the words of the orchestra: From Jupiter’s grandeur to the iconic themes of Star Wars, Star Trek, Zelda, and Halo, this concert launches the orchestra into the worlds that shaped our imaginations. Epic, cinematic, and boldly symphonic, it’s an adventure at full warp.
