Thanksgiving Locavore’s Feast
You are warmly invited to the Vallican Whole for a Thanksgiving Locavore’s Feast, a community potluck celebrating the local foodshed of the Slocan Valley.
On Saturday October 11th, the Whole will open up for a community potluck meal. Admission is an optional donation to the Whole, and a potluck dish to share. Try to feature local food as a celebration of the food, foragers and farmers of the Slocan Valley and area.
Doors at 5:30, dinner around 6pm. The Whole will cook a couple of turkeys. After dinner, Six Slocan Minutes open mic will entertain, so if you have a story, poem, song or skill to show off, bring it along – you have six minutes onstage!
