The Songkeepers & Malina Season Finale
Two choirs, together. You’ll arrive as audience and leave feeling like you are a part of the choir, as our shows are part communal song.
The Season Finale for The Songkeepers & Malina, Sister Choirs, performing together. We share the wisom we explore from our roots with messages to provide hope and resource in these times.
This show combines choral performance with spoken word, original art and our signature community song (as seen recently in the 1000 Voices for Peace Pop-Up Choir). You will come as audience, and leave a part of us. Each performance has it’s own sweetness as the audience voice is such an important part of the spirit
We are 68 voices strong. Please note that the ensemle is different for both our shows. (The Brilliant Cultural Centre show June 7 will have the largest choir). Please check with your favorite choir singer to be sure you book the show they are performing in to avoid disappointent.
We are planning two significant trips next year, one crossing the ocean to sing in Georgia where the Doukhobors were exiled before migrating to Canada. Partial ticket proceeds will help us realize this dream.
Doors open 30 minutes before the show and available tickets will be available at the door. Please note, seating is on a first come, first serve basis and any available tickets will be available at the door. Online sales will close the day prior to the event.
