United For Old Growth Day of Action: Nelson

Join us for a rally to tell the BC Government to stop logging our old growth forests once and for all.
This is a critical moment for forests in British Columbia. Three years have passed since the B.C. government promised to work with First Nations to implement a paradigm-shift in forest stewardship laid out in the Old Growth Strategic Review. Yet the B.C. government has made little progress on their promises. In fact, most old growth remains on the chopping block. Will you help hold them accountable?
We will meet outside of Nelson City Hall (310 Ward Street). Walk down Ward to Baker St, head west to Kootenay Street. U-turn and cross street and head back up Baker street to MLA office. Cross left at Josephine (Fair Realty), walk down Josephine to MLA Brittny Anderson’s office.
