Unwind in Nature; Pre-Fest Workshop for Kootenay Yoga Festival

June 1 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

$25
“Unwind in Nature” – 2hr forest therapy session in Nelson, BC
Drop in and tune in with a guided journey on the “wildside” of Johnstone Park, on the North Shore of Kootenay Lake, just outside Nelson BC. (just opposite the Nelson airstrip on the north side of the West Arm of Kootenay Lake. Access is via Johnstone Road, access via foot trail.)
In typical “Elemental Journeys” style we’ll open ourselves to the magic of the forest, with games and invitations to play and contemplate. We’ll start off with an opportunity to mingle and share, followed by some movement with Amy Heasman, and a guided visualization by Andrea Fox.
Use this time as an opportunity to unplug and unwind, connecting with yourself and others, as well as the healing power of nature ❤️
**Please take note**
There will be a short HIKE component going about 50m downhill/uphill. Please reach out in advance if mobility is an issue.
Please bring closed toe shoes with firm grip. Water and a blanket are also recommended.
COST: $25 – please purchase your tickets in advance through the event link as space is limited!
Proceeds go to support the Kootenay Wellness Foundation.
