Webinar: Pollination Pathways and Bird Friendly Cities

Join West Kootenay Climate Hub‘s lunch-hour webinar on Zoom this Friday, where we’ll be featuring two local initiatives focused on enhancing our natural habitats. We’ll be joined by the Kootenay Native Plant Society to hear about their Pollination Pathway Climate Adaptation Initiative that is working to enhance plant-pollinator communities. We’ll also hear from a local resident who is hoping that Nelson will become a certified Bird Friendly City to ensure our community is a safe haven for birds rather than a source of threats.
