BC’s Marvellous Mushrooms: Exhibit Opening
Join us on Thursday, April 9th at 6 pm for a spore-tactular opening of BC’s Marvellous Mushrooms! We’re opening the exhibit up to the public and hosting a special screening of “Fantastic Fungi,” a visually stunning documentary film by Louie Schwartzberg. Entrance by donation.

Fantastic Fungi is a descriptive time-lapse journey about the magical, mysterious and medicinal world of fungi and their power to heal, sustain, and contribute to the regeneration of life on Earth that began 3.5 billion years ago.
** The film has a mature rating, so parents bring children at your discretion **
BC’s Marvellous Mushrooms will be on display at the Rossland Museum & Discovery Centre from April 9th to July 14th, 2026. Entrance is included in regular admission – free for museum members!
