Borshch Cook-off

The 2025 Borshch Cook-off, hosted by the Doukhobor Discovery Centre, is scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025. The event will be open to the public from 12pm – 2pm. The Cook-off will feature borshch recipes from different regional cooks.
Public entry for borshch tasting is $20 per person. The $20 entry fee will get you a customized Borshch Cook-off mug, tickets for each borshch station as well as bread and cheese. The public will be able to cast votes for their favourite borshch. Prizes will be awarded to the cooks at 2pm.
Come on down to the Doukhobor Discovery Centre on September 27 at 12pm to celebrate an afternoon filled with borshch!
